Day 1: Merry Christmas!

Day 2/3: I’m counting small victories. I found the Supermarket, the Gym and the Old Town. I also found a bunch of hiking trails, the bus route, my school, and was also asked direction in French by other tourists. That was a funny feeling. All I could say was, Je ne sais pas! I haven’t met a rude person yet, and although I’m sure they are out their everyone here is super helpful. It’s amazing how far a little effort with the language and smile will take you!

Words for the day:
Enchanté! Nice to meet you
C'est prés/ C'est loin: It's near/ it's far.
Je suis dans la rue Joseph Silvestre: I am staying on the road Joseph Silvestre.

Day 4: I learned to drive the car! This might sound basic, and you might think, wait she is in France and they don't have different driving practices....Look closely at the interior of the car.

Ya, the steering wheel is on the right side. This offered a bit of a challenge but Drew was patient with me and I'm all good!

Words for the day: Jour de congé: day off!
